In today’s article we look at Thermal Fogging and how it can help your business. The industrial thermal fogging service is effective and can be completed in a fraction of a time that a deep clean janitorial service would. Not only can thermal fogging combat and protect any establishment big or small. It can also provide antiviral sanitisation to outdoor areas and public gathering locations which would not usually have the privilege of being sanitized.
Industrial thermal fogging from Quidos Cleaning is the future of antiviral sanitising and disinfecting.
How does a thermal fogger work?
Here at Quidos Cleaning Services we provide a domestic and commercial thermal fogging service which involves using a pulse jet engine thermal fogging machine.
This is a process that involves blasting a fine mist which contains an antiviral disinfecting substance which eliminates all harmful viruses, bacteria and pathogens.
The fogging mist not only kills airborne bacteria and pathogens, but it also leaves a residue on all surfaces that are hard to reach by standard cleaning practices, which completely kills all harmful contaminants and leaves a reactive innovation barrier.
The micro droplets land on and disinfect all surfaces that harmful pathogens would naturally land and germinate on. The fine mist will also settle in hard to reach places and crevices. This is an electrostatic sanitization process.
What is the advantage of thermal fogging?
THERMAL FOGGING TREATMENT from Quidos Cleaning takes a fraction of the time it takes to cover and disinfect all surfaces and hard-to-reach places.
Our THERMAL FOGGING SERVICE provides sanitization and protection to areas of a building that will never be touched by the average cleaning service.
Our THERMA FOGGING ANTIVIRAL CHEMICAL kills Hepatitis A, B, and C, HIV, MRSA, Influenza A Virus, E- coli (ESBL), Klebsiella pneumoniae (ESBL), Coronavirus Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS)* This chemical is effective against all 18 virus families affecting man and animals.
Our INDUSTRIAL THERMAL FOGGING SERVICE provides an antiviral sanitizing treatment to outdoor public gathering areas such as beer gardens and arenas.
How long does fogging last?
When the specified time is reached the disinfectant has been fully discharged into the atmosphere then the air supply should be turned off.
Effective fogging will require the area to be vacated and free of all employees for at least 60-90 minutes from the air supply being turned off.
It must be stressed that you should NOT enter the fogged area for AT LEAST 60 minutes (time dependent upon disinfectant used) after the air supply has been turned off – unless they wear full PPE including a respirator and have full skin and eye protection.
Is Thermal fogging better than misting?
According to Absolute ACI the difference between misting and fogging is:
“1. Different control over dispersion
One of the key differences between misting and fogging is that misting treats surfaces as opposed to an area, which is made possible by the controllability of the mist being dispensed from the machine. Fogging doesn’t have this level of accuracy, which makes it extremely easy to miss a spot.
2. Disinfectant misting is safe for all electronics
The SteraMist sprays a dry mist and has a very short contact time. The mist dispersed using the SteraMist is perfectly safe for electronics, including medical and scientific equipment.
During fogging, the solution often reaches electronics and leaves a residue on keyboards, monitors and other equipment. These substances aren’t made for electronics and can cause them to deteriorate over time!
- Reduced downtime with misting
An additional benefit of disinfectant misting using the SteraMist is that there’s a reduced downtime in comparison to fogging. Due to the dry mist and short contact time, the mist quickly evaporates from the surfaces it is sprayed onto. Comparatively, fogging leaves a chemical residue in the air and on surfaces for a longer period of time.
- Non-toxic products used
One of the most significant downsides of fogging is that the chemical disinfectants dispersed during the process remain in the air for much longer and can be inhaled by those entering a space after its clean.
These disinfectants aren’t supposed to be inhaled, but the SteraMist, on the other hand, utilises ionised Hydrogen Peroxide (iHPTM) and is a non-caustic, chlorine and bleach-free fog, which doesn’t linger in the air. The 4serve specialists stay on site to take swab tests and readings to accurately ensure that a space is safe for people to enter after the misting treatment.
There are many factors to consider when cleaning a commercial space. Downtime, chemicals, effectiveness and cost are among the most important of these considerations. The SteraMist kills viruses and bacteria with 6-Log (99.9999%) efficiency, is non-corrosive and leaves no residue. It’s a safe, efficient and extremely effective cleaning service to help businesses maintain a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers. “
What do you wear when using a fogging machine?
Our cleaning technicians are required to wear full chemical suits including hair, foot and hand protection whilst carrying out the thermal fogging treatment. They must also wear the appropriate breathing protection and vented eye protection.
Does Thermal Fogging Kill Covid-19?
Thermal fogging is by far the most effective way to create and disperse an antiviral sanitising mist that will cover all surfaces and eliminate 99.9% of harmful bacteria and pathogens. Our antiviral chemical has proven to eliminate the coronavirus alongside many other harmful viruses.
It is important to decontaminate areas of high traffic and extended public use during the easing of lockdown rules and reopening of businesses. By adopting our industrial thermal fogging service you can regularly apply the mist-like antiviral sanitising treatment to all areas of your business and establishments both indoors and outdoors.
Quidos Cleaning’s passion and drive to fight, eliminate and protect against harmful bacteria and pathogens that cause harm and distress to the human race have inspired us to provide a service that can tackle and treat any environment of any size both inside and outside.
After extensive research we have managed to source a high level surface disinfectant cleaner with reactive barrier technology between cleans. It kills 99.999% pathogens within seconds. This service is a one stage process multi surface treatment tested and proven in the real world.
The service can be used wherever the highest standards of disinfection are required and are suitable for use in hospitals, arenas, cinemas, gyms, schools, healthcare and food processing environments and other public places where there is a risk of cross contamination.
The product has been tested against and is effective against a number of commonly occurring bacteria, yeast and viruses that are known to be highly transmissible and can result in infections and illnesses.
